Ich bitte um Beachtung für die leicht zu überlesende Tatsache, dass dieses preiswerte grünleuchtende Bullauge mit einer Diagonale von beinahe neun Zoll (bei dieser Angabe wurde immer ordentlich geschummelt) nicht nur Regler für Helligkeit und Kontrast hat, sondern sogar für hochauflösende Grafik geeignet ist. 😉

Und die Typografie war natürlich auch nicht so pralle in den Achtziger Jahren — vor allem in der Werbung für Technikartikel wurde überreichlich die Futura verwendet.

Hammerburg

Die im Attractmodus des Arcadespieles Don Doko Don (Taito, 1989) angezeigte Burg

Warum Hammerburg? Darum. Übrigens ist Don Doko Don eines der Spiele, die völlig zu Unrecht im Vergessenheit geraten sind. Vermutlich wirkte es auf viele Spieler wie ein schlechter Nachfolger von Taitos Riesenerfolg „Bubble Bobble“ aus dem Jahr 1986. (Man beachte übrigens, dass der eben verlinkte Levelguide im Jahr 2006 geschrieben wurde, also zwanzig Jahre nach Veröffentlichung des Spieles.)
